Day 11: Synchronistic Wisdom From ‘The Way’

This is a series of blog posts relating to the the 10-week Wish Maker Program by Cosmic Navigator,  in which I am working to manifest a new successful business.

Today, for Wisdom Exercise 4, Day 4, Today, I am finding inspiration and wisdom from “The Way” by St. Josemaria Escriva, who is known for helping souls find the extraordinary in the most ordinary moments.

St Josemaria Escriva dedicated his life to helping men and women of all backgrounds to understand that ordinary life can be holy and full of God—naturally and simply, living in the middle of the world dedicated to one’s work and family, sharing in the needs and interests of one’s neighbor and society, respecting the freedom of every person, and striving towards holiness.

“God is calling you to serve him in and from the ordinary…. There is something holy, something divine hidden in the most ordinary situations, and it is up to each one of you to discover it.”

St Josemaria Escriva, Passionately Loving the World, no. 52

Once you’ve discovered God in you, it’s natural to want to experience it more often—as often as you can! And then you realize there’s something holy, something divine, something magical hidden in the most ordinary moments, and that it’s our response ability to reveal it.

Our Creator is always seeking for us raise our awareness of his presence in us, and for us to be his hands … to connect with others… to share the outpouring of our souls in awe and wonder, so we can experience oneness with our brothers and sisters.

As St. Josemaría Escrivá said: “Either we learn to find God in ordinary, everyday life, or else we never find Him.”

When questions about myself arise I took out my book, closed my eyes and think of the question, and I imagine myself surrounded by the silver and grey energy of Wisdom. I flipped through the pages and when the moment feels right I stopped my finger. And then I re-typed the passages here:

Questions About Myself

Am I worthy of pure love for love’s sake?

The Way #568: “How joyfully the guardian angels must have obeyed that soul who said to them: “Holy Angels, I call upon you, like the spouse of the Canticle of Canticles, ‘ut nuntientis et quia amore langueo’—’to tell him that I am dying with love.'”

Yes, I am worthy of love. From the Song of Songs: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine; he grazes among the lilies.

Through divine union with my higher self, i.e., God in me, I am already connected to all creation. I am of great value. I am love/d. I open my heart—and intentionally keep it open— to receive all the love in the universe, and to share it with others through my works.

Do I have what it takes to be successful?

The Way #863: “Child, when you really are one, you will be all powerful.”

The Way #864: “Being a child, you’ll have no cares; children quickly forget what troubles them and return to their usual games. With abandonment, therefore, you won’t have to worry…”

We are all children. As such, we find favor with God because we are pure vessels to do his will.

What is my connection with pure water?

The Way #471: “In apostolic undertakings, it’s very good—it’s a duty—to consider what means the world has to offer you (2+2=4). But don’t forget—ever—that your calculations must fortunately include another term: God + 2 +2.”

By restoring the water to its natural state, we are putting God back in the water. When God is in the water, it is alive. God intended us to drink living water because it helps us stay connected to Him.

We all have doubts. Am I doing what I’m supposed to be doing?

The Way #916: “Lord, make us crazy with a contagious craziness that will draw many to your apostolate.”

The Way #917: “Nonne cor sostrum ardens erat in nobis, dum loqueretur in via?”—Was not our heart burning within us, while he spoke to us on the way?”

Yes, as long as I maintain the Christ Consciousness in me, and I work when inspired to act as Creator’s hands to re-introduce people to God-in-us, it’s OK. I am serving the greater good.  I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing.

How can I inspire others?

The Way #961: “It is necessary that you be aware of God’s presence in you, a man of interior life, a man of prayer and of sacrifice. Your apostolate must be the overflow of your life “within”.

As within, so without. As above, so below. It is we, who are united in spirit, who bring heaven to earth. Heaven is a beautiful thing. It is here, where we are.

Bless you all!

I am thankful.

I am grateful!
